It may not occur to you but your hair + makeup team is who you will spend the most time with on your wedding day. Their chemistry sets the tone of the day.
We have a minimum party of 4 to provide services on location. You can book as a many in your party as you would like! (Our record for a wedding day morning with a 4 hour period of time is 21 party members!) The more the merrier we always say!
After 8 years in the business, we have determined that a 4 hour working timeframe is the sweet spot. This allows us to arrive with our equipment, set up and begin with beauty services for the first party members.
This is a creative process, it ebbs and flows. So a rigid specific schedule might be helpful for you to keep track of your party but for us we operate on a flexible adaptable schedule. Hair takes approximately 30-45 min and makeup takes approximately 45-60 minutes per person. More people means more time.
Some services may finish sooner and some services make take more time. As long as everyone is present who will be getting services we can pull the next available person to keep the flow moving and you running on time!
Yes, you can. We do have an exclusivity clause in our contract meaning if you hire us for makeup we would be the only company providing makeup services and the same for hair. This ensures we can control the quality of work and deliver on an exceptional experience for all party members.

Headed to the beach to get married? Heck yes, take us with you! Otherwise, we do travel but during peak wedding season we try to stay within 15 miles of down town Kansas City. We have a $50 travel fee for the first 20 miles from Studio's zip code 66215. Beyond 20 miles there is an additional $2 per mile fee.
